Welcome to Wilshire Hebrew School
We're a warm and joyful Hebrew school in the heart of the Wilshire Corridor, part of the family of programs at Chabad Wilshire Corridor. Children come to us from every kind of Jewish home, and every one of them belongs here exactly as they are.
Our promise to you is simple. Your child will leave with a deep sense of pride and love for Judaism. Here, children don't just learn about Judaism. They live it, and they're proud to be Jews today.

“A person is a tree of the field.” (Deuteronomy 20:19)
However you nurture a tree while it is small, that is how it will grow. Give a young sapling the right supports and it rises up strong and tall. Our children are no different. And when they are small, that is when they are shaped. And when a steady foundation takes root, it will guide them for life. And this is our whole purpose here: to give every child a foundation of love, a foundation of care, and a foundation of pride in our Judaism, in our Torah, and in our land of Israel.
How do we measure our success? By your child's love for being Jewish and feeling proud to be Jewish, with pride for our land of Israel and appreciation and gratitude for our parents and grandparents who brought us here.
Safety and care come first
A parent's first question is always, is my child going to be safe and cared for? That's where we start, too. We have security and a trained EMT on-site for every session, and a teacher and an assistant for every class, in addition to tutors, so there's always enough attention for every child.
