About the Services

The High Holidays are a chance to pause, breathe, and start the year fresh, and we would love for you to spend them with us.

Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur services take place together in the Tribeca Ballroom at the Kimpton Hotel Palomar Beverly Hills, led with warmth and following the full traditional prayers. Whether you know every word of the machzor or have never opened one, whether this is your first High Holidays or your fiftieth, you belong here exactly as you are. No Hebrew required, no membership, just come.

One reservation covers both holidays, so come to a single service or the whole experience, arrive and leave as you need. A special hotel rate is available nearby for anyone who would like to stay close through the holiday, and if cost is ever a concern, please just reach out, that should never be the reason someone stays home.

A few more details below, we are looking forward to celebrating the new year with you.

Frequently Asked Questions

Who are the services for?

Everyone. Come on your own, as a couple, with friends, or with your family. You don't need a particular background or level of observance to feel at home here. Every Jew is welcome, regardless of background, you belong.

Do I need to know Hebrew?

Not at all. The service is designed to be meaningful and accessible whether you are fluent in Hebrew, haven't opened a prayer book in years, or are experiencing the High Holidays for the first time.

What style of service is it?

Our services follow the full traditional High Holiday prayers and Chabad customs, brought to life through soulful prayer, explanation, reflection, and uplifting talks. Whether you've been coming to synagogue your whole life or this is all completely new to you, you'll be able to find your place in the experience.

Do I need to attend the entire service?

No. We encourage you to experience as much of the service as you can, but you're welcome to arrive and leave as needed.

What should I wear?

Come dressed in a way that feels respectful and appropriate for the High Holidays. Many guests follow traditional customs, including wearing white on Yom Kippur and avoiding leather shoes. Whatever your level of observance, you are warmly welcome.

Is there a children's program?

We don't currently have a separate children's program, so children are welcome to sit together with their parents in the main service.

Where are the services held?

All services take place in the Tribeca Ballroom at the Kimpton Hotel Palomar Beverly Hills, 10740 Wilshire Boulevard, Los Angeles, CA 90024.

Is there a special hotel rate?

Yes. Special High Holiday hotel rates are available at the Kimpton Hotel Palomar Beverly Hills, subject to availability. Details can be found in the hotel section of this page.

Can I attend only Rosh Hashanah or only Yom Kippur?

Yes, come to whichever services work for you. One reservation covers both Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur automatically, there is no separate option for just one.

Are High Holiday honors available?

Yes. A limited number of sacred honors are available throughout Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur, including being called to the Torah, opening the Ark, and holding or raising the Torah. In Jewish tradition, these moments carry profound blessing and merit. To explore an honor for you or your family, please contact our office.

What if the cost makes it difficult for me to attend?

Cost should never be the reason someone doesn't join us. No membership is required, and if you feel you need a discount or would like to come free of charge, you're always welcome, just reach out to us directly and we'll take care of the rest.
